Customized Personal Training Programs Focus on Needs, Goals, and Nutrition

By |2019-03-28T17:27:30+00:00March 28th, 2019|Personal Training|Comments Off on Customized Personal Training Programs Focus on Needs, Goals, and Nutrition

We recognize that each of our personal training clients is unique. They have their own goals, needs, and skill sets. We have personal training clients that are teenagers while others are middle-aged or even seniors as well as every age in-between. Some are pregnant or just had babies while others are training for a marathon or athletic event or sport. Then, we have special needs clients who also have individual goals. Not one personal training program or set of workouts will work for everyone. It takes customized personal training programs that account for exercise, nutrition, and lifestyle changes to get the results for each person. That's why we take one hour with each client to first get to know them, do measurements, discuss goals, and learn about the challenges they face. From there, we customize all personal training workouts, dietary suggestions, and individual homework assignments for days they are not training with us. This increases the positive results plus encourages and motivates each of our clients to keep going. They are much more willing to keep going because they can see the workouts and nutritional guidelines are all about them. We have so many success stories to share that prove [...]

Our Fitness Plans For Weight Loss and the Healthiest You

By |2019-03-17T19:18:55+00:00March 17th, 2019|Fitness|Comments Off on Our Fitness Plans For Weight Loss and the Healthiest You

One of our primary goals for starting our gym and personal training business was to help more people become healthier and enjoy life to the fullest in their best shape. We recognize in today's hectic pace of work and life that it can be difficult to stay on target with losing weight and maintaining that weight loss, so our fitness plans for weight loss are designed to help individuals make it a part of their life. Although you can find fitness plans online, they are not designed for you per se like ours are but are actually made for a general group. They don't necessarily account for past or current injuries, surgeries, or challenges. That's why each fitness plan we create is designed around the individual, including their needs, challenges, and goals. An older client is different than a younger one just like someone who needs to lose 20 pounds versus someone wanting to drop 40 pounds or more. First, we start with a free one-hour personal training session to learn more about you and your goals. We take measurements and discuss where you are at now and where you need to be. Next, we create a fitness program based on [...]

Our Personal Trainers Keep You Motivated and Wanting More

By |2019-03-12T20:36:28+00:00March 12th, 2019|Personal Training|Comments Off on Our Personal Trainers Keep You Motivated and Wanting More

If you are considering personal training with us, here's how we plan to keep you motivated and on track with your fitness goals: Focus on the process.  We realize it can be discouraging when clients just focus on the scale, so we take a different approach to keep them motivated. Each workout is about what that session does toward the overall goal and how far a client has come in terms of each exercise we give them. Personalize each session.    As an athlete, I quickly learned that one approach to practice and working out doesn't work for the entire team. Each person has to be taken as an individual, including their strengths and weaknesses. By doing so, you can create a plan that works for each client, helping them feel like they can accomplish the workout and then get the results to keep them motivated. Keep it interesting by adding new exercises.  It's good to mix things up. My clients never know what I'm going to throw at them. That surprise and new things to learn keeps it fresh and helps them stay motivated. Put in on paper. I write everything down, including each client's goals, each workout, and [...]
