Each year, many of us set resolutions for weight loss and fitness that we aim to keep but often don't. This upcoming year is the start of a new decade so it can be the inspiration to finally stick with those resolutions. To start -- and maintain -- a healthy journey that includes exercise, better eating habits, balanced lifestyle, and personal training, here are some tips that have helped many of our personal training clients: Educate yourself on what it means to be obese, what your healthy weight and body mass index (BMI) should be, and how you can change those measurements. Write down your goals and maintain a food and exercise journal. You can write it in a notebook or use a computer or mobile device to record daily food and movement.
