Personal Trainers at Georgia Personal Training are helping folks in Roswell Georgia lose weight, get fit & tone up! We meet people everyday who have tried every diet plan you can think of. Eating pre-packaged meal plans can help you to lose a few pounds. The problem with them is obvious. As long as you eat those pre-packaged meals you will likely be able to keep the weight off. Just People offers comfortable and safe living accommodations for people with various handicaps and challenges. Our fitness trainers create highly individualized personal training programs for special needs clients. The Year Of My Best Body

Resolutions For The New Year I heard a really great New Years Resolution the other day. I happened to walk by a TV and over heard Oprah Winfrey talking about weight loss and getting into shape.  I believe that I heard her say that she had tried all kinds of diet plans, but, always seemed to gain the weight back. Sounded like she was looking for a more lasting approach. She then announced that she had decided to call 2016, "The Year Of My Best Body." Think about that comment for a second. You know, that approach actually makes sense for lots of people. Most people want to get into better shape. We all talk about loosing weight and getting physically fit with our friends and family. A few of us act on that desire. Unfortunately, the majority that talk about it, don't actually follow through. How many times you have gone to the gym and thought to yourself, I see the same exact folks at the gym every time I go? Maybe it's just me, but, it sure seems like I run into the same folks. The one time of year I tend to see new people at the [...]

Cosmetic Training vs Functional Training

Which category do you fall in?  Which style is better? First let me say that anyone who has the discipline to train gets our respect. Regardless of why you train, we believe that fitness training will improve your quality of life. We also believe that fitness training can and likely will improve your overall health and reduce your risk of injury or illness. It is our belief that those who choose to train are likely headed down the path that leads to an overall better life experience. All that said, lets delve into the the questions this article attempts to explore. Again, please keep in mind the article is not attempting to be judgemental, it is simply written in an effort to stir thinking, discussion and hopefully to sway your thinking as to the reasons you should train. What are you really trying to accomplish when you train? Is your goal to look good at the beach or perhaps you just want to potentially be more attractive to the opposite sex? Is your dream to be a famous body builder or figure model? Do you judge your progress by how defined your abs are, or by the size of your biceps and [...]

Fitness Trainers Make The Difference

Personal Training Delivers Results Do you every find yourself saying, today I am going to start losing this unwanted weight? We mean well, but, somehow we just seem to let life's challenges get in our way. How many mornings, just over the past month, have you gotten up and told yourself, today is the day I start training? Lets be honest for a moment. My guess is the answer to the two questions above is, both have happened frequently. For most of us, we can visualize doing exactly what it takes to lose the weight. We all tend to see ourselves like we did when we were younger. Remember those days? We ran frequently. We ate all that we wanted and we never seemed to have a problem with our belt being to small or needing to buy new, bigger cloths. What we all forget is, mother nature tends to slow our metabolism as we get older. Once the metabolism starts to slow, our bodies begin retaining more fats cells. Our bodies store that fat, thinking we are going to need it for all the exercise that we normally do. The problem is, we are now working all the time [...]

Time To Lose Your Winter Weight

It's Time For Spring Training! Anytime 24 Hour Fitness | Georgia Personal Training 9420 Willeo Road, Roswell, Georgia 30075 Winter is one of the most challenging times of year for most of us. For me personally, I truly struggle with the cold and fewer hours of daylight thing. Oh, I am not about to whine about it mind you. I simply don't like to be cold! Lets face it, we live in Roswell, Georgia. We enjoy working out, running, biking, hiking and boating. All those great Spring, Summer and Fall activities. For most of us who were raised in Georgia, the idea of skiing, bobsledding and dog mushing just isn't what we wake up excited about. My personal issue with Winter begins the minute they tell me I have to turn back my clock by an hour for Daylight Savings Time. Mind you, I have no problem with the Spring forward piece of that equation. It's the Fall back for Fall that just strikes a nerve in me. The minute I hear Fall Back, I think oh great, it's going to be dark before I even get home from work. By the time I think about going out for a [...]

Morning Workouts Fire The Engine

Morning Workouts Can Enhance Your Life Personal Training For Busy People Our recommendation is, workout early in the morning. An early workout can really be beneficial to your body and to your psyche. When you workout in the morning, it super charges your body and mind for the busy day to come. Many of the clients we serve love morning workouts. Their metabolism kicks into high gear and the feel great for the entire day. The morning workout allows their bodies to start burning fat, early in the day. At the same time they are getting a head start on burning fat, they also get to enjoy other side benefits such as more energy and increased mental focus at the office. Here is a quick science lesson. Your body slows down your metabolic rate and lowers your brain temperature while you sleep. In effect, your body is repairing any damage from the previous day.  Metabolism uses two processes to break down and build up molecules in your body. These processes are called, anabolism and catabolism. Anabolism relates to the build up of molecules, while catabolism controls the breakdown of molecules. In laymen's terms, your body uses these processes when storing molecules [...]

Evan Moore

Evan Moore Freshman Of The Year - Alpharetta High School Evan Moore has been a personal training client of Matthew Lein for more than 4 years. Evan started working with Matt when he was approximately 12 years old. He is now in his Freshman year of High School at Alpharetta High. Evan has shown great dedication in all of the speed, strength, agility, hitting and fielding work that he and Matt have done.  Evan's parents were introduced to Matt four years ago. They quickly saw the passion for training baseball players that Matt had. In conversations with him, it was evident to them both that Matt not only possessed the baseball skill and talent level that their son hoped to achieve, but, he also had the practical knowledge and ability to transfer that knowledge and information to other ballplayers. Evan immediately enrolled at Georgia Personal Training and has been growing as a baseball player and as a person since that time. Congratulations to Evan for being named Freshman Of The Year at Alpharetta High School.
