Georgia Personal Training is Roswell’s Best Personal Training Center Finding the proper mix of Cardio and Weightlifting is tricky or at least I find it to be. Also, as you get older and metabolism slows, it becomes difficult to keep weight in control. Years ago, and I forget where I heard it, muscle weighs more than fat. Therefore, in my younger days gaining weight seemed like it was okay as I was gaining muscle. At mature ages that rational is not as plausible it seems. The Professional Team at Georgia Personal Training evaluates each and every client through consultation. Then during workout sessions, it can be determined if alterations in routines need to be changed up in order to keep the optimum mix of Cardio and Weightlifting. If you look at long distance runners, those that run 10+ miles at a time, they are skinny. That is because the long endurance running actually burns more calories than a person consumes. I remember in high school cross country how true that was. Instead of trying to lose weight, most of us wanted to gain weight fearing that we looked emaciated and weak. However, there just was no way to gain weight when running [...]

Georgia Personal Training Helping People with Fitness Since 2008 Having spent nearly five decades working in Corporate America, I considered myself a 7am to 5pm type employee. I was often one of the first employees to show up in the morning. I was also pretty regimented about leaving the office at 5pm and going to the gym. Some of my coworkers were morning workout people. They believed in the Benefits of Morning Workouts. Many would get to the gym by 5am do a workout, shower and head to the office. I admired that but just could never get into morning work outs. By all accounts, I had my schedule backwards and was missing out on the Benefits of Morning Workouts. Below is professional advice from the owners of Georgia Personal Training regarding morning workouts. Matt Lein Personal Trainer and Owner GPT Georgia Personal Training Benefits of Morning Workouts Our recommendation is workout early in the morning. Georgia Personal Training offers Football Training I remember getting to middle school and thinking how great it would be to make the football team. The football players had that swagger and just seemed to be the pride of the school. At least that was my view. I tried out in 7th grade thinking all of my years of playing catch in the front yard or tackle football with the neighborhood kids qualified me to play for the school. Unfortunately, I needed Football Training like that at Georgia Personal Training. Consequently, since I was very skinny and not that fast, the coaches thanked me for coming to try outs but passed on me becoming a team member. So, I compromised and ran Cross Country and Track. Football, like all sports, requires the proper level of training. The Professional Trainers at Georgia Personal Training have the knowledge and skill to help football players get better. Matt Lein, the co-owner of GPT with his wife Brandi, played many years of baseball including at the collegiate level. He knows the drills that increase performance for an Athlete. He also knows how to coach after spending so many years surrounded by the guidance of different [...]

Georgia Personal Training center is a great place for Roswell and East Cobb area soccer players to train. Being a baby boomer, I did not grow up with soccer being a main stay in terms of youth participation. However, now it seems to be one of the most popular past times for kids some under 5 years old. In my day the top three sports were little league basketball, baseball and football. I decided to do some research and see when and why soccer has become such a popular activity for youth and adults alike. And why some Personal Training businesses like Georgia Personal Training add Soccer Agility Training to their program. According to the Gallop study, soccer was only popular with about one percent of the US population around 2010. By 2019 that had grown six percent. Theories are that when the FIFA World Cup was hosted in America back in 1994 it attracted many people to the sport. About three and a half million spectators in fact. From there the sport has mushroomed into one that athletes and spectators alike have fallen in love with. The Major League Soccer Association is adding four more teams to the group. [...]
