While you may still be in the midst of your summer vacation, the start of school is not that far away, which means fall sports tryouts for your high school or college team. This is the time where you want to be upping your game in terms of your strength, endurance, speed, balance, and flexibility — some more than others, depending on the sport you are playing this fall.
Typically, the fall school sports season includes cross-country running, football, and sometimes volleyball. That doesn’t mean you can’t also start working on your skills for upcoming sports like basketball in the winter and baseball in the spring.
For football, for example, it’s all about speed, agility, and strength. Maybe you are already taking a sports summer camp at one of the local high schools like Roswell High School. While they definitely teach you some of the skills you need for football, you also need to work on your own conditioning program.
That’s where we come in as personal trainers that specialize in sports training programs for football, baseball, and many other sports. We help train your cardiovascular and muscle system to operate at peak performance so you can win at tryouts and then outperform on the field when it’s game time.
How do we do this?
We have specific programs designed around what you need for each sport. And, we are able to do this because our personal trainers have been you — they’ve played high school and college sports and know what it takes to succeed at each sport.
Beyond just working on skills and endurance training, we also play the role of mentor and motivator, helping to encourage you when you may be struggling or have mental blocks that often get in the way of your real performance ability.
At the same time, our goal is to make our sports personal training programs fun and satisfying as you work on different types of exercises and routines each time to keep it interesting and challenging. Our goal is to always have you work on tweaking things to make you better.
We are proud of our efforts to help you succeed and enjoy having many of our students return on their summer breaks to continue working with us. As we begin another school year, we look forward to helping new students who are ready to improve their fall sports abilities. Contact us now to learn more!
