One of our primary goals for starting our gym and personal training business was to help more people become healthier and enjoy life to the fullest in their best shape.
We recognize in today’s hectic pace of work and life that it can be difficult to stay on target with losing weight and maintaining that weight loss, so our fitness plans for weight loss are designed to help individuals make it a part of their life.
Although you can find fitness plans online, they are not designed for you per se like ours are but are actually made for a general group. They don’t necessarily account for past or current injuries, surgeries, or challenges.
That’s why each fitness plan we create is designed around the individual, including their needs, challenges, and goals. An older client is different than a younger one just like someone who needs to lose 20 pounds versus someone wanting to drop 40 pounds or more.
First, we start with a free one-hour personal training session to learn more about you and your goals. We take measurements and discuss where you are at now and where you need to be. Next, we create a fitness program based on that information.
No matter where you are with your fitness goals, we start you off slow so we can observe how you do over the course of a few personal training sessions. This also helps you get accustomed to exercising again and gives you some time to recover.
By working upwards in your fitness plan on a gradual basis, it helps you feel accomplished. Rarely do we see anyone quit when we take this approach because we understand and appreciate that each person has their limit. We know it’s not easy, so we like to see these small wins along the way.
Our fitness programs also emphasize stretching, proper warm-ups and cool-downs, and a combination of weight training, cardio, and cross-fit activities. We also give you homework assignments that you can do on those days when you don’t have a personal training session.
Most importantly, we spend time reviewing and discussing the fitness plan to see how you are doing, what we might change, or look over results to build more confidence and motivation to continue.
