Personally, I have never tried a Boot Camp Class but I have friends and family who swear by it. In fact there is a Boot Camp gym directly across from my gym. By all appearances, the people in side seem to really be into the routines and enjoying themselves. The professional trainers at Georgia Personal Training (GPT) are firm believers in the overall health benefits of Boot Camp style work outs.

As I researched a bit more, the benefits do seem to be valuable and very measurable. What I found is that:

  • You can see more rapid results.
  • You will have a support group of people to work out with.
  • You will learn the routines and be able to use them when you are traveling or just not able to make it to the class.
  • You will more time than not lose weight if you stick to the routines.
  • You will develop not just better physical strength and stamina but also a stronger mental outlook.
  • You will have fun.

Members at Anytime 24 Hour Fitness and Georgia Personal Training Center really seem to enjoy boot camp classes. Participation in each class, especially on Saturday morning, is always strong. There is much to love at GPT. We have some of the best trainers in Atlanta and our gym is loaded with top of the line fitness equipment. Our team works extremely hard to create an environment that is conducive to achieving a great workout, in a fun environment.

Your good health is our mission. One of the things our clients really appreciate about our boot camps is the fact that they are able to participate in GPT boot camps for free. It’s included in their Anytime gym membership. Boot camps are offered three times each week. Twice during the week and once on the weekend.

Today’s boot camp was a blast. Both Matt and Brandi were at the gym this morning. That means the work is about to begin. Boot camp lasted approximately one and one half hours. The same host of characters were there to participate. We have a group of stalwarts who routinely participate and always make the day fun! These members are dedicated, hard working folks. Believe me when I say everyone is sweating, but, somehow always still smiling, laughing and working hard to get stronger. There is always plenty of encouragement flying around the gym during these group sessions.

We try hard to vary our boot camp workouts. It really seems to help folks enjoy the workout. Normally we set up stations, which might include the tractor tire that you see pictured above. If we use stations, we generally create between 8 – 10 different exercise activities to ensure that each participate gets a great full body strength workout, with a keen focus around improving overall cardiovascular health.

We have heavy ropes, tires, punching bags, Bosu balls, exercise balls, medicine balls and all types of top flite fitness equipment. In the vast majority of our boot camps, the exercise stations have members moving at a pace that fits their capabilities. We are always mindful to ensure that participants enjoy their workout. This is supposed to be fun. Folks that have fun generally tend to stay at it.

One of the main goals we had when we decided to open Georgia Personal Training and our 24 hour Anytime gym was to try to make a difference in the lives of those in the area. The world is a really busy place. Most folks we meet rarely seem to have time or make time to take care of their health and fitness. Your health matters to us.
