Sport Specific Fitness Training For Tennis Players
Speed, Agility, Strength, Balance
Georgia Personal Training offers fitness training programs for tennis players. We work with tennis athletes from Roswell, East Cobb, Milton and other areas in and around the Atlanta area. A fitness program for a tennis player starts with a keen focus on core body strength. Our trainers always make core body a focal point in virtually every session they do with tennis players. Tennis demands speed, agility and strength as well. We have a comprehensive approach to training that incorporates the exercise necessary to address the entirety of each athletes needs.
We train tennis players of all ages and skill levels. It has been our experience that athletes who start fitness training at younger ages (13 – 14) tend to be far better prepared to tackle the rigorous demands of high school athletics. Our fitness trainers have worked with players from Roswell and other area high schools. We always look forward to helping local area high school kids achieve success. In fact, that is why we are here. Nothing is more rewarding to us than seeing an athlete we have trained find success at the high school and collegiate level.
How likely is it that your son or daughter will achieve enough success at the high school level to position themselves to receive a collegiate scholarship offer? The window of opportunity for high school athletes to move to the collegiate level is pretty narrow. Tennis is considered a major sport at SEC and larger colleges. Most smaller schools, as well as most junior colleges, offer the sport as well. Still, the total number of college players is small when compared to the number of players participating on high school tennis teams. Meaning, if you want one of those college spots, you are going to have to work hard to get it. There are opportunities for players who embrace the competition and are prepared to do the work necessary to compete successfully. We are a great fit with that type of athlete.
In today’s world, a player most possess incredible skill and talent if they are the draw attention from college coaches. It’s not only talent that a tennis player needs. They also have to achieve a solid GPA in high school as well. Our trainers are very aware of that. We train the athlete, while at the same time encouraging the student as well. Our goal is helping younger athletes achieve success. We try hard to always maintain a global focus with the athletes we train.
