backstroke swimmerSummer is in full swing, and we are excited by how busy our personal training schedules have been, helping new personal training clients create their own success stories.

With the kids out of school, you may feel like you have more time to devote to your summer workout sessions thanks to fewer Uber rides to and from school.

Here are some ways that we recommend getting the most out of your summer workouts:

  • Mix up your summer workouts with some fun outdoor activities, such as a bike ride, trip to the beach, or outdoor sports like tennis, basketball, or golf. This way, you can make sure your kids get some much-needed exercise in while you turn it into family time.
  • If the heat gets you beat, then change any outdoor workouts times to the early morning or evening hours to combat the fatigue that sets in thanks to humid and hot conditions here in Georgia.
  • Also, drink plenty of water throughout the summer heat even if you are working out inside of our gym. Staying hydrated keeps your body on pace with your workouts and provides a way to cool your body down.Depositphotos_12278832_m-2015
  • Change up your diet to reflect the summer months with grilled meats, salads, and cool smoothies made from fresh fruit and a dairy substitute like almond milk. This will help you fuel your workouts plus give you some different flavors to enjoy.
  • Try a class at our gym like boot camp or cross-training to put your body through something new compared to your usual workouts. It’s a great way to gain new motivation while also meeting others just like you on a mission to improve their fitness.

Finally, if you only have been working out by yourself at the gym, using our great equipment, you can take your summer workout to the next level by trying out a free introductory one-hour personal training session.

Or, we have a deal that includes three personal training sessions for $99. Both will provide you with ways to make your workouts go farther to produce the results you want.
