At Georgia Personal Training, our focus is on delivering elite personal training services for clients in the Metro Atlanta area. One of our specialty areas in personal training focuses on sports performance, including baseball performance training. Our team includes experienced baseball players who played in high school and college and, therefore, understand the type of training needed to excel at America’s favorite sport.
Baseball performance training focuses on agility, arm strength, power, and speed — all critical skills that a baseball needs to stand out from the rest of the players. There are specialized movement patterns in baseball that are unlike those in any other sport. That means you can’t use the same personal training techniques for baseball as you would for say football or lacrosse.
Our baseball performance training programs focus on helping a baseball player increase their bat speed and exit velocity, throwing velocity on the mound and in the field, speed on the bases, agility and range on defense, and durability. At the same time, we use techniques that help a baseball player reduce their risk of an injury.
Every year, baseball players are getting bigger, stronger, and faster. That means each baseball player has to do more to stand out in a crowd if they want to be noticed by recruiters for that treasured collegiate baseball scholarship and place on the team. And, as a college athlete, you may even want the pro baseball teams to notice you.
Our goal is not only to help each baseball player optimize their athletic potential, but we also want to teach them how to be a good leader on the field, take care of their bodies and minds, improve their mental game, and be an all-around outstanding baseball player and athlete.
We’re proud to say that we have helped many baseball players in high school and college achieve their dreams of playing. We want to help you do the same!
