The Science Behind Extreme Versa Gripps:

The patented carpal bridge support, built into the Extreme Versa Gripps, allows the bar to be supported above the very vulnerable median nerve/carpal tunnel area located at the base of the hand. This new feature works as a bridge support to help keep the bar from coming into contact with the carpal tunnel area. This bridge insert slightly elevates the weight bar and adds support on either side of the carpal tunnel area of the weight lifter’s hand, thus helping to relieve pressure from the bar. This is advantageous to the lifter when performing any pushing exercise with a lifting bar.
