Every YouTube video workout or exercise program available on DVD is made for the masses. While these may offer some benefit for you, they are not customized to meet your own goals.

    For example, although you may be able to potentially lose weight from regular use of these videos, you will not be able to address other needs like toning, speed, strength, flexibility, endurance or sports-specific training.

    Not everyone is made the same or responds the same way to exercise. There are so many factors that come into it, including age, gender, current weight, and overall lifestyle not to mention previous injuries, surgeries, or life events.     However, working with a personal trainer could include one or more of these individual goals as part of your custom personal training program. We start out with a free one-hour session in order to get to know you and what you are looking to achieve from working out.

    We also do an analysis of your current body and exercise abilities as well as discuss your nutrition and lifestyle to truly understand why you have certain goals.

    Custom Exercise Routines

    All this information then helps us to design a program to meet those individual goals. This includes creating a weekly exercise program that is done with a personal trainer as well as homework days where you take a personal exercise routine and complete it based on the previous progress. We also discuss sleep, nutrition, stress and other factors that are integral in creating the best you possible. Abs, abs, abs!!!

    After you complete a few weeks of this custom program for personal training, we take measurements and review the progress to date to see if any changes need to be made. Your feedback on how you are doing, including any struggles, are also important to our focus on your individual needs. We are in this together so it’s important to hear about any changes to your needs as goals are met.
