Increasing Your Resting Metabolism

Here are three ways to increase your resting metabolism:

  1. Focus on intense weight training. This does not mean do three sets of 10 to success with five-pound dumbells. Instead, it is about high volume, high pace, challenging weight and working to failure. img1
  2. Do anaerobic cardio. This involves sprints, sprints, and more sprints. You can run, bike, row, climb stairs, or whatever else might involve some type of sprinting.  Just make sure that what you do is all about the sprints.
  3. Eat as frequently as possible. Every time you eat, you give a jolt to your metabolism since it has to break down that food for energy. That means the more small meals you eat, the more your metabolism will step up and work hard to break that food down, giving you more energy throughout the day as well.

These are not opinions. These are scientific facts. Embrace these three components and you will increase your resting metabolism. The result will be like transforming your body’s engine from a V6 to a V12. From there, you can watch the fat melt off you.
